Spark Bitcoin wallet: preparing to receive BTC
Check Spark support, receiving addresses, recovery and network options before using your Bitcoin wallet with ChangeSpark.
Check the payment network your wallet supports
A wallet described as a Bitcoin wallet may support Bitcoin mainnet, Lightning, Spark, or a combination. Before an exchange, open its Receive screen and look for an explicit Spark option. ChangeSpark’s Spark routes need a Spark mainnet receiving address. A wallet that offers only a Bitcoin deposit address or Lightning invoice cannot use that address in the Spark receiving field.
Prepare your wallet before creating an order
Set up the wallet through its publisher’s official distribution channel and complete its recovery setup. Keep access to the wallet until your exchange is finished. Copy the public receiving address from the wallet itself, then check the beginning and end after pasting it. ChangeSpark asks for that public address; wallet recovery material is not needed for an exchange.
Understand what you are receiving
On this site, Spark BTC means bitcoin held on Spark, not a separate token issued by ChangeSpark. Your wallet may display bitcoin in BTC or satoshis: one BTC is 100,000,000 satoshis. For example, 0.001 BTC is 100,000 sats. Use the address and network checklist to distinguish a Spark transfer from a Bitcoin mainnet deposit.
Fund the wallet with a supported asset
Once you have the right address, follow how to buy or swap into Spark BTC. You can use an enabled BTC, USDT, ETH or SOL direction from the catalog. Orders require at least $100 USD worth of the sending asset before fees. Review the receiving amount, create the order and pay its exact instructions within 60 minutes.
Keep wallet custody and exchange processing separate
Spark wallet custody depends on the wallet and protocol you use. A ChangeSpark exchange involves sending payment to the service and receiving an output transfer after confirmation. Keep your wallet’s recovery procedure separate from the private order link. Use the order page to follow payment status and your wallet to check arrival. See payment help if the two views need clarification.
